Prayer requests from Anne-Marie & Ian Prescott

Ian and Anne-Marie with OMF International based in Lindfield, responsible to develop OMF’s ministry among Vietnamese diaspora internationally (Vietnamese living outside of Vietnam)(part time) and seconded to Global Connections to work with the CEO as Catalysts for Diaspora Ministry (part time).
Please pray
  • For Ian chairing the search committee for a new General Director for OMF. Over the coming weeks they will be talking to the candidates over zoom.
  • Pray for Anne-Marie chairing the planning committee for the conference for OMF workers who are part of the Diaspora Returnee Ministry Field. The conference deferred from October 2020 will take place in Thailand this October bringing together folk from around the world. We expect around 80 to attend. We are thankful that travel restrictions to Thailand are being lifted further from July 1.
  • Pray as some of those involved in wider diaspora ministries will join the 'Beyond Borders' conference which will follow immediately after. Ian is on the planning group for this.
  • Pray as Ian prepares four Bible messages for a conference in Thailand with a different group of around 80 OMFers at the end of July.
  • Pray as we visit friends and colleagues in Vietnam the week before this conference.
  • Continue praying for the tract for Japanese Christians to use to share the gospel with the 450,000 Vietnamese in their country. We have made contact with the author's children who hold the copyright. Pray they would agree to its use.
Give thanks for
  • Several colleagues who have received visas to return to Vietnam in the last few weeks.

Our highest priority is to equip, encourage and build up mature and effective Christians who will be examples of Christ-like living. We therefore place a high emphasis on prayer, worship and Bible teaching.

Who we are

All Saints is an anglican church with a strong evangelical tradition serving the parish of Lindfield in the Diocese of Chichester in West Sussex.

Although we are a local church, we are also committed to supporting God's work further afield - through the Sussex Gospel Partnership and through our many mission partners who are involved in mission work in this country and across the world.

Hugh LeadingOur aim is to be a welcoming Christian community, embodying as well as proclaiming the gospel of God.
Our belief as a church is grounded in the teaching of the Bible, the inspired Word of God. We joyfully acknowledge Jesus as our Saviour and try to follow him day-to-day as our Lord. We are not a perfect church, but we are trying, by God's grace, to grow in faith, hope and love each day. Our aim, therefore, is to be a disciple-making church, building up and growing mature followers of Christ who will be his witnesses in the world.
