January Update
Tuesday 5th January 2021
Further to the announcement from Boris Johnson last night, we met and after prayer and discussion have taken a decision on how we do church for the next few weeks. The church will remain open in for private prayer each day from around 9am until dusk. We will broadcast a live morning service at 9.15am, from the church building, with a very small team of people leading this, but without a congregation. In these morning services we will be investigating Jesus in Luke's gospel - please read along with us. As happens already, we will release an episode of All Saints Kids at 9am each Sunday morning. We plan to use this model until February half-term.
Whilst the numbers of cases is rising, and the NHS is at risk of being overwhelmed we feel these are the best measures to protect the church family at the present time. We will continue to monitor and review the situation, as we long to be back together worshipping in church as one family. We do however remain united by God’s grace, as one family in Him. He is our hope and strength. Please do be praying and thinking of how you can reach out to others, connect with one another on the phone and virtually, and keep an eye on the website for other events such as Zoom coffee and prayer meetings where joining in brings fellowship, a sense of support for others and growth for us as individuals. Our prayer for everyone at this time is Isaiah 40:31 - that those who hope in the Lord, will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
With love in Him,
