Vicar's Retirement

For those who may have missed it, our Vicar James Clarke announced in last Sunday's online broadcast that he would be retiring after twenty-four years in post.

James said that he had intended to retire at the end of July, but that he and his wife Chris felt that it was not right to go at a very unsettling time for the church. Therefore, he would delay his retirement until such time as the coronavirus emergency was over and we were settled back in church. We would need to have a time of stability to regroup and find our feet after which he would step down and enable the process of choosing a new vicar to go forward.
